THE QUIET GRACE THAT LEADS US

Sometimes we forget that every person we meet is carrying something heavy. For me, it’s severe anxiety, and while I don’t always talk about it, it’s a real part of my everyday life. Others may face different struggles — some quieter, some harder, some that never show on the surface. But the truth is simple: none of us choose our battles, and none of us deserve to be judged for them.
So when we look at someone’s missteps, misfortunes, or moments of weakness, let’s remember that compassion goes a long way. We don’t know the story behind their struggle. We don’t know what it took for them just to show up today. Offering grace isn’t just kindness — it’s understanding, it’s humility, and it’s love in action.
I’m learning to give myself grace, too. And I hope we can all extend that same gentleness to one another.
